The health products I no longer buy at the store! And how I earn money doing it.

A few years ago, my Target list drastically decreased. It decreased so much that now I have to look for reasons to go to Target. No offense Target! I do still truly love you, but I spend half as much now. I usually wander around with a Starbucks just looking at things. I do all my grocery shopping at Aldi, so my Target list usually consisted of shampoo, conditioner, lotions, over-the-counter vitamins or supplements, toothpaste etc. That was until I really started using doTERRA for more than just essential oils. It was a little overwhelming at first. I smelled the oils a lot, I diffused them and did rollers on our feet regularly. It took me a good while and a few “ah ha” moments to get really comfortable with them. Once I set up an LRP (Loyalty Rewards Program) order per month I found myself adding new products to the order. The LRP can be changed each month, and nothing is locked in. I started ordering one new oil per month. You can order as much or as little as you want, but once I saw how much money I was getting back on each order, I thought I’d try out some of the other health and beauty products doTERRA made. I mean… they were completely organic and I wouldn’t even have to go to the store to get them. They would come right to my door. Win, win! I started with the all natural whitening toothpaste. It’s a cinnamon flavor. It’s On Guard, so if you use that currently, then you know the spice it has. I wasn’t sure I would like it, but it turned out to be a staple in our house. My husband, who has always been a skeptic of the oils, is in love with On Guard toothpaste! Then we used Correct X. It’s a skin ointment almost like neosporin, only we use it on everything. Dry lips, cracked hands, boo boos, razor burn, etc. Another staple. Next I moved on to the shampoo and conditioner and the doTERRA spa body wash. I’ve never been really loyal to a brand, but I love that it’s completely natural and we’ve been moving that direction little by little for years. I had used coconut oil only on my body for lotion with a drop of essential oil, so this only made sense. Again…. love. You get the point. So what products do I no longer buy at the store?

  • Toothpaste
  • Deoderant
  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Body Wash
  • Mouth Wash
  • Body Lotion
  • Face Cream
  • Facial Cleanser
  • Hair serum
  • Vitamins
  • Probiotics
  • ointments
  • Anti-aging lotions or creams
  • bathroom cleaner
  • kitchen cleaner
  • floor cleaner

And here are some of the things we had already cut from our home with our doTERRA starter kit….

  • antacids
  • sleep aids
  • cough meds
  • cough drops
  • cleaners
  • bug repellents
  • allergy meds
  • pain relievers
  • nebulizer
  • cold meds

Need I go on?

So people ask me all the time if doTERRA is expensive? Ummm….no, that really depends on what you value. I know how good these products are. I trust doTERRA with my family’s health. And…. I save a lot of money . How do I save? Well, as a start, I stopped paying co-pays for doctor visits 3 years ago! That’s a whole separate post, but really, doTERRA has saved us probably thousands in sick visits!!! I also spent so much money on wasted products that were toxic to my family and that didn’t work or were expensive anyway. doTERRA is not “cheap” and if it were, it would not be good! You do get what you pay for. How does it save me money then? I set up that LRP order and have kept my order going for years. By doing so for only 13 months you will earn 30% return on your total order and you will get your shipping back in points. Points are equal to dollars in most products. So if I order $100 per month in product, I in turn get what’s equal to $34 back in my account. Even as a new wholesale customer you start out earning 10% back on your orders and shipping. Does Target give you that? At most you get 5% with the red card. Several times a year I cash in my hundreds of dollars in free oils or product on all my families health care products or I buy gifts for family and friends. Even more than that, I have committed to be a Wellness Advocate and I earn commissions on sharing doTERRA. I get hundreds of dollars directly deposited into my account each month just for sharing products that my family loves. It’s very simple.

So, what products are you looking to replace in your home? What do you currently spend on health and beauty products? What do you use that’s not organic that you can make a change on? doTERRA also has the most amazing customer service. If there is any product you don’t like, they will refund you. I love that.
